Storekeeper

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ÿ  Bachelor’s degree
• Ÿ  3 years work experience in a similar field
• Ÿ  Forklift driving skill
• Ÿ  Good knowledge of English
• Ÿ  Sense of organization
• Ÿ  Good oral and written English.
• Ÿ  Computer knowledge (MS. Office)
• Ÿ  Ability to work in a team.
• Ÿ  Flexibility and able to work under pressure.
• Ÿ  Good organizational skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ÿ  Monitor stored goods condition and report any problems.
• Ÿ  Monitor stock levels and inform warehouse manager of any discrepancies and/or stock outs.
• Ÿ  Assist with cyclic inventory counting and updating stock cards.
• Ÿ  Assist with unloading of consignments.
• Ÿ  Assist with receipt of consignments including unpacking and checking all relevant information against packing list.
• Ÿ  Allocation of signed bin cards to correct batches.
• Ÿ  Assist with movement of goods from receipt area to storage.
• Ÿ  Pick goods according to FEFO (first expired first out) or the FIFO (first in first out) and picking ticket information.
• Ÿ  Label Packages according to accepted ICRC standards such as packing list Number etc.
• Ÿ  Pack goods safely in appropriate means, such as cold chain.
• Ÿ  Prepare information on picking ticket for transport such as weight and volume of consignment, liase with transport when consignment ready especially if urgent.
• Ÿ  Complete outward shipment register.
• Ÿ  Participate in yearly inventory.
