•Upgrade Hardware & Software:
•Perform system backups and performance tunings, evaluate, test and deploy all software and hardware up grades to the server infrastructure.
•Develop and implement policies:
•Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure maximum availability as well as integrity of the systems
•Manage & Monitor all Server Activities:
•Proactive monitoring of all servers and services for high availability.
•Manage systems running on AIX /Linux .
•SAN Storage monitoring and management.
•Handle Database related activities:
•Perform database related activities like import/export, monitoring table spaces, oracle user administration.
•Configuration of Policies:
•Backup monitoring and configuration of policies using VERITAS net backup tool for servers located in Karachi data center
•Perform system administration tools and processes to administer small, uniform site alone or assists in the administration of a larger system.
•System State Backup for disaster recovery of system.
