PURPOSE OF POSITION
Assist the Finance /Grants Manager ensuring conformity with World Vision International reporting requirements and stringent compliance standards established by each Donor Government/regulatory agency and Support Office.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the Finance Manager/ Grants Manager in monitoring Finance receipts/expenses and prepare reports on a monthly basis/ Need basis.
• To verify actual Finance expenditures against approved World Vision Procedure on a monthly basis.
• Orient consistently through Financial Manuals and other related Finance information.
• Liaise with Islamabad/Mansehra offices with regard to financial issues as may be assigned by the Finance/Grants Manager.
• Assist in reviewing coding on vouchers for valid account, cost center and recommend necessary adjustments to originator.
• Ensure all Finance files are current with Proposals, grant agreements, budgets, financial reports, narrative reports, amendments, extensions, No cost extensions etc.
• Provide financial reports to the program/operations department on need basis.
• Carry out additional responsibilities and projects as assigned from time to time.
• Control all the Finance budget releases according to the budget line items whenever there are requests by the departments
• Give the vouchers reference numbers for all financial documents..
• Perform any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by Finance/Grants Manager, country Director
• LDR’s Follow-up
• Maintain Petty Cash at AIP Level

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Credentials
• University degree or equivalent in Finance

Experience
• Minimum of 2-3 year experience in relevant field.
• Previous accounting and budget preparation experience is preferred.

Critical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Requires knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and practical knowledge of financial systems and internal financial controls and procedures.
• Requires good communication skills (oral and written).
