PURPOSE OF POSITION

The incumbent shall be responsible for assisting/facilitating in planning, organizing and implementing the operation plan of all activities related to Local Household Enterprise development among target communities in collaboration with community based or village organizations facilitated by Community Development Officers located in World Vision Pakistan program operational areas.

Major Accountabilities:
Major Activity
• Provide assistance to Project Coordinator in conduct of market survey and disseminate the findings among the stakeholders

• Develop training material (design, supplies, list of community members) with the trainers on household enterprise development.

• Establish linkages with government agencies and other NGO’s for enterprise development initiatives.

• Field visits to sites, household enterprise development schemes and provides feedback and report to the Project Coordinator.
• Conduct of meetings with households regarding the sales point operations and develop linkages with the local & district market.

• Identification and training of the caretaker of the sales point for enterprise development at Tehsil level.

• Conduct of training needs assessment on adult literacy and numeric among male and female adult enterprise group.

• Assist trainers to conduct literacy and numeric classes at the village level and submit report to the project coordinator.

• Conduct of forums on importance of education among the parents, household enterprise with Community Development Officers.

• Conduct of regular meetings with communities for planning, implementation and monitoring of the project with the support of Community Development Officers and Monitoring Officers.

• Submission of daily/weekly field report to the project coordinator on the approved formats.

• Responsible to present World vision Mansehra and project activities in different meetings conducting on field level and on any other coordination meetings with the approval of project coordinator.

• Responsible to hold community meetings among communities and forming different committees with the help of project coordinator.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Masters degree in Business Administration.
• 3 years experience in livelihood and community development.
• Cultural sensitivity and excellent communication skills.
• Experience of supervising field staff and providing training to women/mothers with good leadership abilities
• Must be creative and have a pro-active personality
• Good Marketing Skills
• Flexible, motivated, team player with good behavior and conduct.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken and command on local languages Hindko and Pushto
• Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment with multi-national staff
• Good computer skills including familiarity with MS Office
