Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for quality supervision for the implementation of BSS & Transmission network elements/systems in the network as per the agreed time lines and project plans. The smooth operations of the same elements after sites go on air.
Responsible to allocate sites to the team members for control of the installation, commissioning, integration and Acceptance of the BTS, BSC, access and backbone transmission systems in order to ensure that the quality standards given by the client are fulfilled
Regular Progress reporting (planned/actual) and to give realistic forecasts for progress
Solve or escalate BSS & Transmission problems to HQ’s
Interface with key customers for Power, BSS and Transmission solutions
Administrative tasks will include budget administration and control, Inventory management, supervising team and evaluating their performance.
Experience:
Min 4 years of experience in a similar position handling BSS & Transmission activities in the network
Extensive experience of performing procedures and processes for the GSM access and backbone systems installation, integration and acceptance related activities of the GSM network will be a plus.
Must be capable of undertaking challenging assignments with targeted results.
