Position Summary: The Human Resource Officer's job is to manage all human resource information for the organization and provide assistance to the management team. The Human Resource Officer will supervise the Human Resource Assistant to provide quality assistance to all employees regarding their employment.
 
Reporting and Supervision: The Human Resource Officer reports to the Office Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:
•    With the guidance of Office Manger, maintain up-to date and accurate computer and hard copy personnel files, prepare job announcements/job descriptions, file documents in personnel files, conduct interviews, recruit staff, and facilitate new employee orientations and trainings.
•    With the guidance of Office Manager, provide local staff with information about their terms of employment, leave, as well as other relevant information.
•    Plan and implement strategies and activities to foster and facilitate the development of cooperative, professional relations between and among staff at all levels.
•    Participate in professional training and development activities, design and implement the Performance Evaluation System.
•    Ensure confidentiality of sensitive files.
•    Maintain training inventory database and training plan.
•    Assists in design and implement of the Performance Evaluation System.
•    Ensure timely communication on employment changes i.e. resignations, terminations, leave applications, time sheets and other personal related information.
•    Process insurance claim documents and follow-up insurance claims with the organization’s insurance company.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
•    Masters Degree in HR or equivalent.   
•    At least 2 years of experience in general, and 1 year of HR in an international organization at supervisory level.
•   Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word & MS Excel in particular).
