Job Description

1. Engage with clients to develop innovative financial products for rural economies. 

2. Understand the needs and behavioral aspects of the value chain stakeholders, and the imbalances in the value chain caused by those needs and behaviors.

3. Structure financial solutions (credit / insurance / savings / business development services / financial literacy) to address the needs of the value chain stakeholders in an incremental manner. 

4. Conduct research, analyses findings and structure the solutions that incentivizes clients and meets the needs of the value chain stakeholders. 

5. Interact with private sector clients and multi-lateral donors to solicit interest in projects of national interest that would address the issues of the lower-end market segments in Pakistan.

 

Qualifications

1. Master's degree from a reputable institution in business, accounts, rural development or international development. Candidates with Master's degree in any other field or Bachelor's degree would have to demonstrate the professional drive and willingness to adapt and learn. 

2. At least 6 years experience working in financial institution, financial/business/management advisory or a relevant donor project. 

3. Excellent English writing skills.

4. Ability to structure and connect the needs and requirements of multiple economic /business sectors.      

5. Ability to work in a start-up setting with a professional team. 

    

Compensation: Market-based salary structure.
