Responsibilities:
- Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, and partner organizations;
- communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships;
- sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press and social media
- managing the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and DVDs;
- writing and proofreading copy;
- Arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials;
- Maintaining and updating customer databases;
- organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions;
- conducting market research, for the products and services
- Contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;
Support Business Development
Supports and analyses plans and innovative strategies of marketing services and products duly developed under various collaborations and through indigenous efforts
Supports finding business clients and plans to increase business growth
Supports to prospect for potential clients and turn this into increased business
Participate in pricing the solutions/services
Supports to determines service sales targets and supports their achievement
Supports identifying new opportunities that can lead to increased service growth
Discusses and consult with other staff and managers on latest business trends with a view to introduce innovative products and or services in future
Client Retention & Support
- Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships
- Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet client needs
- Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs
Business Development Planning
- Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
- Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase service sales
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the unique selling propositions and differentiators
