PURPOSE OF POSITION
Position shall be responsible to facilitate, trained and monitor Value
Based Learning Center Teacher and Leaners under Gift Catalogue project. He/ she providing necessary technical and training assistance to the teachers, Youth interest advisory committee and project stakeholders under the guidance of the Project Coordinator for Gift Catalogue Project. She will deliver model lesson, interactive activities, effective use of low cost no cost material to make effective learning of learners. She will also extend model lesson on to VBLS Teacher on child protection, right to Education, life Based skills, accelerated learning and Health and hygiene’s to VBLS Teachers.
Major Accountabilities:
- Deliver model lesson on all theme at valuable Based center and provides feedback and regular report to the Project Coordinator.
- Supervise, monitor and mentor teachers of learning center to ensure that quality education is delivered.
- Monitor, look after and make improvement plans for community learning centers.
- Develop session material (design, supplies, list of community members) for different lesson under supervision of project coordinator.
- Play effective role for identification and enrollment of girls in community learning centers
- Responsible to assist in organizing community meetings and forming different committees and groups for project interventions under supervision of project coordinator.
- Play effective role to conduct community meetings for the awareness on life skills, health and hygiene, child and women rights, prevention of GBV through other activities
- Assist to coordinate meetings and making sustainable action plans with the community members including direct beneficiaries i.e. youth, girls attending centers and other stakeholders.
- Document and submit timely Value Based learning center monitoring report on monthly basis.
- Understand and incorporate child protection policy into all sectors of work.
- Any other assignment given by the supervisor or management

Minimum education requirements;
• Master Degree in Education with B.Ed or M.Ed or in social science with 3-4 Years of experience in the Field of Education and Gender mainstreaming related projects.
• Training imparting experience and able to train others
• Previous experience of working in development sector/ NGO/INGO
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
• Fluent in English, Urdu and Saraiki, preferred knowledge of Punjabi
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to express ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively with senior management, internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiar with geographical location, social, cultural, and tribal issues
• Good supervisory skills with development workers and field staff
• Good computer knowledge (MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel and Internet)
• Ability to work in a cross cultural environment with multinational staff, with emotional maturity and physical stamina.
