Relevant Experience:

  • A two-year degree in an IT-related field of study, and/or sufficiently extensive work experience and certification coverage to compare with such.
  • 3-5 years work experience in a relevant field, preferably with an international organization.
  • Fluent in spoken English and Urdu. Competent in reading and writing English.
  • Good human relation skills, integrity and ability to work with minimum supervision and under pressure.

Job Description:

  • Support and maintain all IT related systems and equipment.
  • Provide technical assistance to staff in all areas related to IT within the context of program implementation.
  • Configuration the set-up of wireless routers, repeaters, DSL modems, load balancers, etc.
  • Maintain a consistent accounting of software license usage, request new license purchases when appropriate, and follow-up on all licensing-related issues.
  • Maintain regular backups of office data, and periodically test the restoration of them.
  • To ensure all the systems are protected against viruses or spywares and all offices.
  • Monitor and report on the implementation of various network construction, internet-service provision, and end-user support contracts.
  • Create scheduling projections, inventory reports, site survey reports, and other documents as required;
  • Provide on job training to staff on the various tools and systems available to them;
  • Provide technical assistance to project staff by assisting them with the usage of server based file storage and data backups;
  • Establish and manage Telephone Exchange PABX Intercom system;
  • Carry out other duties as may be assigned by the concerned supervisor.
