PURPOSE OF POSITION

To oversee the implementation of project interventions by the Implementing partners in Bannu area and incase of repatriation in the areas where IDPs belong. Position will be  responsible to monitor the project activities regularly  in all stages of project and ensure the integration of both the components. One of the main job of the position is to ensure close coordination and liaison district and provincial level with line department, PDMA/FDMA and other clusters.

Major Activities: 

  • Represent WV at district and provincial level with line departments and clusters.
  • Oversee the development, management and implementation of project interventions within given time frame and budget
  • Ensuring that Implementing partners follow the proper rules & regulation of donor and WVI in day to day activities
  • Supervise the development of procurement plans and implementation of the plan accordingly with implementing partners
  • Assist in the conduction of program, field assessments and project reviews in consideration of future program planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Manage closure of projects and ensure smooth project exits from communities
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of all required reports from IPs
  • Preparation and submission of regular narrative and other reports required by donor/s, support offices and management following LEAP reporting system (templates, schedule, etc.) based on the M&E monthly reports
  • Review all program and project documents to ensure that principles of Red Cross Code of Conduct, SPHERE Standards, HAP-I standards and relevant WVI standards, strategies and policies are adhered to
  • Project wise analysis of IMPACT, justification/explanation of 10% over and under performance against objectives/outputs/results in project documents, 10% over and under spending on anticipated burn rate in GFR and BMT, coordination, issues identified in monitoring and rectification, issues identified in accountability, evidence available to verify quantity and quality of work and impact conveyed in monthly reports, quarterly, semi-annual and annual and any other donor report requirement. Reporting is in Active voice - crediting the department, agency, partner, community individual who did the work
  • Timely submission of project reports and weekly updates to ADM
  • Maintain evidence documents for review by AME officer and visiting Senior ME and SMT members as well as for selective inclusion in reports.
  • Identification and timely communication of grey areas and challenges to management for improvement 

 Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Masters degree/University degree in any of the relevant field – Disaster Management, Sociology, Anthropology  , rural development ,MPH or other social sciences
  • Fluent in English, preferred knowledge of Urdu/Pashto
  • Strong Understanding of Budgeting and proposal formats
  • Experience in IPs management
  • 3-5 years proven experience in project management,  Monitoring and Implementing Partner management
  • Work experience in complex emergency/rehabilitation settings
  • Practical experience of proposal development and LEAP budgeting (preferably)
