Compliance Officer

Relevant Experience & Skills:

• A degree in an IT-related field of study, and/or sufficiently extensive work experience and certification coverage to compare with such.
• 3-5 years work experience in a relevant field, preferably with an international organization.
• Work experience in Visual Basic, Structured Query Language (SQL), etc.
• Fluent in spoken English and Urdu.
• Good human relation skills, integrity and ability to work with minimum supervision and under pressure.

Job Description:

• Administer, support and maintain all Database related systems and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance to Umeed Jawan staff in all areas related to database development and design within the context of program implementation.
• Maintain regular backups of office data, and periodically test the restoration of them.
• To ensure all the Umeed Jawan systems are protected against viruses or spywares and all Umeed Jawan offices.
• Monitor and report on the implementation of various network construction, internet-service provision, and end-user support contracts. 
• Provide on job training to Umeed Jawan staff on the various tools and systems available to them in the context of Database design and implementation;
• Provide technical assistance to project staff by assisting them with the usage of server based file storage and data backups and Database operation;
• Establish and manage Telephone Exchange PABX Intercom system;
• Design and creating planning tool for grant management.
• Work as database analyst for GMS.
• Implement GMS.
• Develop Budget Templates for new grants
• Create accurate cash forecast to ensure smooth disbursement of grants.
• Ensure complete DB compliance during grant implementation as per Creative and OTI policies and regulations.
• Create and assist DB project close out plan.
• Coordinate between finance, procurement, program and engineering departments to ensure smooth implementation of projects.
• Provide technical assistance in terms of compliance to support functions as and when needed.
• Carry out other duties as may be assigned by the concerned supervisor.
