Responsibilities:

  • He/she will be responsible for proper filing and record keeping of all sort of office related correspondence electronically and hard copies.
  • Will be responsible for generating, handling and maintaining all sorts of financial (petty cash journal, bank book, cash flow request files, vouchers / receipts etc) electronically and hard copies.
  • Will be responsible for making arrangements for meetings, hotel reservation for lodging and conferences, travel reservations etc.
  • He / she will travel to Project districts whenever required, for financial disbursements or any other special assignments/tasks.
  • Will be responsible to keep network coordinator updated regarding all official maters.
  • Will be responsible to report to network coordinator as his first reporting officer.
  • Will keep the office operational in the absence of network coordinator.
  • Monitor compliance with the standard donor’s requirements.
  • Review monthly relevant financial reports from to ensure correctness of grants related activities/expenditure under supervision of TAF Finance & Grants office.
  • Assist Program staff in reviewing correctness of draft Letter of Agreement, Letter of Amendments, Contracts and grant related payments requests; review disbursements, grantee budget adjustments, grants refunds, and compliance.
  • Act as focal point for human resource management to include:
  • Manage and strengthen the Human Resources function -by:
  • Ensure that the process (vacancy announcement, interviews, employee selection, salary negotiation, etc.) of recruitment results in hiring of high quality people for all positions in REAT network
  • Develop and manage an overall Professional Development Program streaming out of Training Needs Analysis including resource identification and mobilization.
  • Undertake exercise for the review and revision of compensation and benefit packages for internal and external equity and advice the management on the same.
  • Review, revise and adapt HRM policies and procedures
  • Any other tasks as assigned by network coordinator

 

 

Qualification Required: Article-ship completed/CA Intermediate or MBA/ACCA/ACMA

 

Experience Required: Minimum two years of Financial/Accounting management experience with an international development organization

 

Competencies required:    Command over Microsoft Word, Excel (spreadsheets) and   PowerPoint, and Quick books or other accounting software, knowledge of best practices of Development Sector regarding financial policies and procedures is a plus.
