Job Description

• Handling the financial aspects of the region in line with Company Policy and manage timely invoicing to clients under close supervision of Regional GM and realisation of invoices to the satisfaction of the region’s management.
• Keep a close liaison with client accounts branch for getting the cheque released in time.
• Prepare of salary sheets after receipt of attendance sheets from Operations department and present the same for review and approval by GM operations
• Transmission of (GM) approved/ signed version of (Project) salary sheets to Accounts Manager (HO) keeping GM (of the location) and COO in loop
• Provide details of adjustments, discrepancies, and other queries raised by HO within appropriate time to ensure that project salaries are received within acceptable timelines
• Maintain and submit to Accounts Manager an updated status of receivables keeping GM (location) and COO in loop
• Ensure timely and safe disbursement of project salaries under appropriate insurance cover
• Receiving payment requests,  checking documents, verifying accuracy of payments and preparation of vouchers
• Custody of cheque books, preparing cheques,  and maintaining inventory of cheque books
• Recording vouchers in GL and updating the accounting system timely
•  Dealing with banks for cash transactions, transfer of funds, cheques, issuance of POs, DDs, and obtaining bank statements etc
• Submit to HO all accounts and finance date, records, vouchers, by 15^th of each month
• Assist Manager Accounts in preparation of monthly bank reconciliations, receivables status, advances and other ageing reports
• Maintain petty cash and timely records all transactions
• Perform any other task assigned by Accounts Manager, GM, COO, FC and CEO
