Job Purpose

Job Purpose: Mainly responsible for interaction, motivation, initial assessment and development of children on streets attending the protection center.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

• Interaction with street children coming to protection center
• Identify, motivate and train peer educators
• Maintain case information and records
• Reporting and initial assessment and analysis of cases
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions
• Provide feedback on cases in case commission meetings

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum Masters degree in psychology
• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in working with children in difficult situations
• Working knowledge of child rights is preferred

• Professional writing and communication
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proficiency in developing and utilizing professional psychological tools
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Proven interpersonal skills
• Mediation skills
