Job Purpose

Job Purpose: He/she will be responsible for field and center level motivational, interaction, information sharing and reintegration activities with street children with evidence driven plans of action in project scope.

Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

• Involve in awareness campaigns and regular stakeholders meetings
• Give orientation sessions to street children visiting the protection center
• Motivate and encourage street children to bring them to protection center and avail protection services
• Carry out center level and outreach activities as planned in the project to develop feeling of ownership among the beneficiaries
• Report regularly to Center In-charge
• Write daily diary regarding street work
• Identify new influx spots of street children
• Map the streets and identify new children and situation of old children
• Register children at outreach
• Build contacts and repo with gang leaders and other stakeholders on streets
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by Center In-charge as per requirement

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum Bachelors degree in social/development studies
• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in working with children in difficult situations
• Working knowledge of child rights is preferred
