We are an International Organization (INGO) working in the field of elections, democracy and governance in collaboration with government institutions and civil society.

We are currently seeking a committed and energetic individual for the above position. Detailed scope of work with required skills and qualifications are summarized below.

Task

To develop technical specifications for the procurement of firewall and secure socket layer for a national institution. 

Deliverables

• Develop/review technical specifications for the procurement of state-of-the-art firewall and secure socket layer.
• Prepare a list of potential companies/venders that can supply the firewall and secure socket layer for national level organizations having large scale computer secure networks at district level.
• Master degree in computer sciences with specialization in computer network security
• Should have successfully completed advance level computer networks security certification
• Minimum ten (10) years of relevant thematic and programmatic experience in the field of computer network security;
• Expertise in secure computer network design architecture for national level organizations in public and private sectors;
• Excellent interpersonal/representational skills;
• Fluent in spoken and written English, especially technical writing;
• Ability to produce high quality work under pressure and within time constraints;
• Organized and efficient; and
• Experience of working with international organizations

Qualifications

Non conflict of interest

The selected consultant will sign a certificate “Non-conflict of interest” indicating that he/she is not presently working or worked during the last two years in firewall and related computer hardware marketing companies and does not have any bias towards a specific brand or company/vendor.
