Job Title:                Operations Coordinator

Position based:     Islamabad

Department:          Administration/Operations

Report To:             Deputy Country Director

BACKGROUND:
An international media development organization seeks applications from qualified candidates to join a dynamic team to support the management and operations of public information media development programs

SUMMARY:

Operations Coordinator will be mainly responsible to supervise and ensures implementation of effective and professional day-to-day office operations and general office support functions and assists with any special projects and performs other duties, as assigned by the supervisor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures effective implementation of the organization’s administrative policies and procedures
  • To manage the administration team to ensure delivery of a high quality of administration services on both internal and external front
  • Assists in developing new and updating existing administrative policies and procedures and the operations policies and procedures manual
  • Supervises staff that performs various support services includes drivers, cooks, cleaners and occasional laborers.
  • Manages petty cash to meet day-to-day petty expenses
  • Provides logistical support to all staff members in-city, out-city, out of country travels.
  • Ensures hotel and travel arrangements (domestic & International) for official staff, international expat staff
  • Responsible to provide pick & drop protocol services at airport to staff
  • Assist in holding trainings at Islamabad and/or district levels;
  • Responsible for office building/ residential accommodations and secure lease/ rental agreement
  • To file all the administrative related documents etc in good order and easy to access

QUALIFICATION:

  • University Graduate
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in related field
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Well verse with procurement procedures, filing systems
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral & written)
  • Must be aware of local market
  • Sharp contacts with Vendors/Suppliers, and ministry of interior.
