Community Mobilization Officer

Relevant Experience:

       BA/B.Sc with 02 to 03 years experience.

Job Description: 

• Responsible for all the social mobilization activities in the target community.
• Close coordination with engineering sections for mobilization and facilitation at community level.
• Arrange meeting with community for sharing project activates.
• Selection of the most vulnerable, marginalized and poorest of the poor beneficiaries based on criteria.
• Responsible for assessment survey to identify the most vulnerable IDPs in the target area.
• Responsible for CO formation in the targeted area.
• Keeping close coordination with community, religious leaders and community leaders.
• Responsible to visit different location and identify the deserving communities for the project package in a most appropriate way.
• Make sure the all the beneficiaries are local and IDPs.
• Responsible for the distribution of kits and others packages among IDPs.
• Arrange training session for hygiene promoters.
• Mobilize local community to participate all the activities of the project.
• Make a tentative weekly or monthly work plan of the location that fall in the target areas.
• Responsible for the submission of report to the supervisor within all contexts.
• Exchange ideas and experiences with management and other team members.
• Ensure cordial relation with all team members.
• The selected beneficiaries will be re-assessed jointly by the monitoring section of IDEA along with WASH committees to avoid duplication or selection of households/beneficiaries that do not fulfill criteria.
• Responsible for organizing 3000 hygiene session for hygiene promoters in the targeted area.
• Signing of MOU from CO Head.
• Responsible for the identification of sites for latrine and hand pump.
• For identification of the beneficiaries, a separate format will be developed.
• Selection of beneficiaries would be done according to the CONCERN rules/policy.
• Seek guidance from Supervisor/P.M in case of any problem in the assigned work.
• Any other tasks assign by the supervisor.
