Chain Grapes

Specific Responsibilities:

• Assume overall responsibility for planning, implementing, monitoring and coordinating the implementation of Viticulture activities
• Carry out field activities and follow up on timely implementation especially for grapes interventions
• Coordinate all field activities in close consultation with farmer/farmer groups, social mobilizers and value chain specialist
• Under the supervision value chain Lead, undertake responsibility for the implementation of field activities and farmers training needs identification.
• Develop the linkages and networks required at regional level, and identity and implement pro-active measures for continued collaboration
• Work closely with sector consultants engaged by the Organization from time to time for undertaking various assignments
• Record information/data and report to M&E as and when required
• Assist M&E unit in monitoring of grape related activities in the region
• Ensure compliance to project policies and rules in procurement and implementing field activities
• Serve from time to time as a facilitator for Component events;
• Assist Admin / Logistics team and all other departments, as may be required from time to time to ensure optimal project performance;
• Perform all other relevant duties that may be assigned by the supervisor/Chief of Party or his designee.
