Step Robotics is a spinoff of Clary Solar. Step Robotics is formed by the CEO and founder of Clary Solar which is rated the 295th instruments for the renewable industry.
Role and responsibilities
The work primarily involve creating a web based platform and application that will interact and integrate with a number of external entities. The external entities can be other software applications / web- services and/or various types of end users. You will be required to work on GIS and mapping tools, modern standards compliant web-based GUIs, data import and export in various formats, creating a comprehensive bidding platform, integrating with mobile applications, and programming the business logic. Successful applicants for this position will be directly working with the company CTO, responsible for the development and maintenance of a commercial software application, which is used by the solar industry and will bring different solution providers together.
Required skills and experience
- At least 7+ years of overall experience in software industry
- 4 – 6 years experience developing web applications using .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET (Forms and MVC), HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery and CSS
- Experience with Services Oriented Architecture XML, JSON, SOAP, WCF and REST (Web Services)
- Strong JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 and AJAX skills
- Experience with at least one ORM e.g. Entity Framework, NHibernate etc
- Experience with LINQ, Generics, Lambda expressions
- Strong knowledge of SQL, T-SQL queries, RDBMS Concepts & Stored Procedures
- Experience leading teams and providing architectural recommendations
- Knowledge of MVC, MVVM, DAO, IOC, Singleton, Factory and other design patterns
- Experience with SDLC in an Agile/ SCRUM environment or another iterative software development process framework like RUP
- Experience working in a team environment using a software versioning and revision control system – e.g. SVN, CVS, Git or Mercurial
- Experience troubleshooting bugs and performance bottlenecks in a live production environment
