Relevant Experience:

-An advanced degree in social sciences with minimum of 6 years experience in designing and implementing gender and dispute/conflict resolution programmes

-Conceptual understanding and knowledge about Gender and Dispute Resolution and ability to translate this knowledge in programme strategies, training materials, tool kits and reports

-Experience in capacity building, strategy development and gender analysis of work carried out in field and documents produced

-Excellent verbal and written communication and report writing skills in English/Urdu

 

Job Description:

-Provide technical support on programme components of gender and dispute resolution

-Assess needs of programme staff; plan and implement capacity building initiatives on themes related to gender and dispute resolution

-Update programme strategies and documents keeping in view the gender concerns and issues of dispute resolution

-Creating synergies with the thematic lead organizations of the programme and advise them as and when required

-Incorporate learning from field and assist HoP to respond to the emerging needs of the programme
