General Background and Position Description

USAID Power Distribution Program (PDP) is providing assistance to the government owned Power Distribution Companies of Pakistan (DISCOs), with the aim to curtail losses, enhance revenues and have a well regulated power distribution system in Pakistan. 

The HR & Change Management (HR&CM) team is interested in immediate sourcing of assistance in support of the Org A&R Project, which is being undertaken internally through its own resources. The assessment phase of the Project has been completed. With respect to the implementation phase, the team wishes to undertake immediate preparatory steps, which will include personnel and other data gathering, data filtering, and data entry. The assistance will also cover formatting of different reports and presentations, scanning of filing information, and information management.  

Relevant Experience:

  1. Graduate or currently enrolled in a under graduate or graduate program in reputable educational institution
  2. Previous experience is preferable but not mandatory
  3. Desirable skills are analytical skills, problem solving, communication, presentation, proficient in using MS Office and office machines, etc.
  4. Understanding of different HR concepts will be preferable   

Position – Specific Role and Responsibilities

The position holder will be responsible for:-

  1. Performing different data gathering and data filtering activities required as part of implementation phase of the project for different deliverables, as identified by the Manager Implementation NEPRA.
  2. Performing reports/presentations/training material, etc., formatting to ensure that same formatting scheme is used in HR&CM team deliverables
  3. Scanning of the manual record to develop the soft copy of the essential material, and also developing of database that will be used by the HR&CM team to update their databases.
  4. File and record management of the data as identified by the Manager Implementation NEPRA
  5. Any other task assigned by the Manager Implementation NEPRA and Director HR & CM

 Note: The position requirement is for 6 to 8 weeks, which may be extended based on team's requirement
