Community Appraisal and Motivation Programme (CAMP) is a national non-profit and non-governmental organisation established and registered in May 2002, under the Societies Act of 1860 (Registration No. 192/5/2946). We work with some of the most underprivileged communities in Pakistan; responding to emergencies, improving access to quality health and education, creating livelihood opportunities and working closely with communities and government departments to promote human rights, peace and security.

Project/Department Objective:   To improve the health status of the target population and strengthen capacity within the health sector in the target area.

Job Description

Job Summary:

To support development and implementation of health related training to health care providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver  and provide the  comprehensive and structured training to health care providers on primary health care services
  • Provide assistance in developing  the contents and standard of the training as per project documents
  • Gather and review the relevant training materials
  • Provide assistance to Project Manager while organizing the health staff training
  • Supervision of the project's day to day activities
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned activities in the field
  • To keep accurate records of the equipment in CAMP’s use
  • Facilitate in monitoring and evaluation of the projects
  • Submission of daily/weekly progress reports to  Project Manager 
  • Adhere to CAMP policies/procedures including finance, human resources, security, procurement and logistics; and ensure staff compliance
  • Participate in professional development activities, as needed or assigned
  • Take initiative and perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or CEO

Working Conditions & Travel:

The position is based in Peshawar with regular travel to field areas at Districts Charsadda and Nowshera for the training purpose and some travel to Islamabad.

Person Specification

Education and Experience:

  • MBBS/MPH from an HEC recognized institution

Experience, Skills & Competencies:

  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Microsoft office experience (word, excel, outlook express, internet, powerpoint)
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Self management and ability to work under stress
  • Experience of planning and organizing work
  • Time management and problem solving skills
  • Experience of managing teams
  • Experience of working in communities and building collaborative relationships
  • Having organizational commitment, personal integrity, ability to work with diverse groups of people and respect for others
