The Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) is an institution of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). Established by the Aga Khan Foundation in 1982, AKRSP has been working in Federally Administered Gilgit Baltistan and district Chitral of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa in the field of integrated rural development with the mission to promote inclusive human development and eradicate extreme poverty.

We are looking for some suitable candidates to fill in some vacant positions. In this regard applications are invited from competent professionals to fill in the position of HR and Admin Officer based at our Islamabad office.

Job Purpose:

To assist in HR, administrative and logistic support.

Experience required:

3 years of relevant experience preferably in development sector.

Job Description:

  • Maintenance of paeronnel records of all employees and consultants, regular consolidating/updating of HR database and produce required data/reports for management.
  • Ensure that all employees and consultants are working under current/valid contracts.
  • Arrange orientation for newly hired office staff and ensure that orientation packages are provided to new employees.
  • Manage employees performance evaluation system.
  • Maintain leave and training record of employees and produce reports when required.
  • Routine correspondance with insurance companies (Life/Medical) and ensure that all eligible staff have got relevant insurance plan.
  • Identify relevant training course opportunities for staff.
  • Ensure security and confidentiality of all personnel record.
  • Assist in maintenance of fixed assets and asset data management.
  • Undertake logistical requirements of staff and official guests and make arrangements accordingly e.g. booking of hotels, air tickets, by road travel, etc.
  • Liaison and coordinate administrative and logistical work.
  • Help to procure office equipment, furniture, office supplies and stationary.
  • Facilitate appointments and arrange meetings and special events.
  • Handling of visitors and official guests.
