Job Description:

Develop and customize organization’s core Management Information System, Mobile Application, and other software applications and guide the MIS team in software development related matters.
Participation in conducting requirement analysis form the relevant stakeholders for the software projects.
Develop software development schedules for the team and responsible for executing, monitoring and controlling the activities within set timelines.
Lead the team of software developers to generate the desired results.
Implement smart mechanisms to monitor, manage and provide progress on all software development activities.
Ensure timely completion of software development projects with desired quality.
Create, implement and maintain a continuous improvement plan for software development activities.
Take lead in building capacity of application users by providing necessary trainings through innovative and smart methodologies.
Look after the application source code management, quality assurance and release management activities of software applications.
Assist Chief Information Officer with the aim of meeting current and future MIS initiatives.
Develop and customize of Geographical Information System and its integration with core MIS to generate tabular and cartographic output for analysis.
Develop software related necessary documentation

Relevant Experience:

At least 16 years of education or Master’s in Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Engineering or relevant disciplines from a HEC recognized university.
Atleast 5 years of experience in software development and related activities.
Experience in managing software development team in the capacity of software development manager.
Extensive experience in development of large-scale database driven web-based business applications.
Skilled with the tools required for generating Business Intelligence information on various parameters.
Knowledge of latest techniques of application security to stop the threats and cyber attacks.
Hands-on software development experience on Microsoft Technologies like .Net, C#, ASP.Net, SQL Server etc.
Experience in mobile application development and Geographical Information System.
Have worked on latest Business intelligence tools.
Excellent team management and negotiation skills.
Good problem solving, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Excellent adaptability skills to work in a fast-paced environment with different units.
Must be highly skilled in time management and multi-tasking.
