A leading development sector organization in Islamabad is looking for a Senior professional for the position of
Lead - Access to Finance
The job incumbent will be responsible to build linkages and synergies among Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and financial service providers to efficient and effective business capital for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) for innovation, upscaling and business expansion activities. He/she shall be responsible for policy advocacy with the relevant Government authorities for facilitating easy access to financial services for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). The job also requires leading technical advisory function for finance related tasks. Maintaining relationship with main financial partners will be a major role of the job incumbent. Further, the job entails to provide quality control and liaison with the financial service providers to identify customized products for the target Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).
Position requires at least 16 years of education, preferably Masters in Project Management / Business Administration / Public Administration / Social Sciences or other relevant discipline from an HEC recognized institution. Minimum 10 years’ relevant project management experience with a largescale foreign donor-funded development projects, understanding of financial budgeting, at least 03 years’ experience in leading the project team is essentially required.
The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker, result oriented in approach, a strong decision maker, an exceptional team player with multi-tasking ability, having collaborative management style to effectively lead a diverse team, and proven track of successful relationship management with donors, government institutions, and other internal / external stakeholders. Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, ability to perform in fast-paced pressure environment with tight deadlines, proficiency in MS Office, and willingness to extensively travel in the field cross Pakistan is vital for the role.
