JOB PURPOSE:

The position holder will conduct summer schools program activities and maintain daily activities record. He/ she will facilitate students’ learning by establishing good relationships with students and by the effective organization of learning resources and the classroom learning environment.

Job Description:

  • Facilitate and execute HH summer schools program activities effectively and as per schedule.
  • Create a lively, communicative atmosphere in classes that is conducive to teaching and learning.
  • Plan, deliver and evaluate lessons provided by the master trainers and suggest improvement in daily teaching.
  • Monitor the attendance of students and ensure their engagement in the summer program activities.
  • Work with the students to identify the cases of behavioral or educational problems, communicate these as appropriate to the program coordinator and parents for its solution. 
  • Actively coordinate and participate in project activities and understand the nature of the project in an appropriate way.
  • Guide students to develop/maintain the summer program portfolio on daily basis.
  • Share monthly progress reports with the program team.
  • Encourage co-operation, teamwork, honesty, understanding and tolerance among the students.
  • Any other task assigns by supervisor.

Relevant Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or any field of study.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and teaching skills
  • Experience and ability to handle challenging work environment
  • Must be familiar with the demographics of selected districts
