A local Non Governmental organization is looking for dynamic staff for its intending project on Policy and Legislative Governance to be executed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 

The Project is for Strengthening Legislative Governance in KP , through evidence-based advocacy that informs and engages citizen and provincial legislators to raise voice for amendment in the Rules of Procedure for standing committees. The organization will also engage CSOs and media to leverage evidence-based demand for strengthening legislative governance, financing and oversight. It is expected that the project will help create political and legislative support for improvement in procedures of the standing committee and effective participation of provincial legislators for improved governance.

Management and Supervision

  1. Supervise all project staff and provide leadership to the staff in achieving the project output in the designated districts.
  2. To provide administrative and technical supervision to the team.
  3. Pakistani national fluent in written and spoken English and Urdu. 
  4. Master’s Degree in Social Sciences.
  5. At least 4-5 years’ experience in  Governance and advocacy with an NGO.
  6. Experience in designing advocacy campaigns at provincial level.
  7. Expert knowledge of Pakistani politics and election systems, at the national, provincial and local levels.
  8. Fluent in standard computer programs, including online applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and excellent typing skills in English. 
  9. Excellent communication skills and experience in writing press releases, articles and write ups for media.
  10. Demonstrated self-initiative, ability to identify and promote local and provincial level electoral reforms agenda.
  11. Ability to work to tight deadlines and under time pressure
