General objectives of the function:
[The Paramedical Technician LHV perform screening, delivery and prescription of medicines, as well as guiding and educating beneficiaries on health and obstetric subjects; this position is the core generator of the medical services in the clinics,].
The position’s requirements are:
Academic Qualifications:
- LHV Academic/Technical degree/diploma.
- PNC registration is required.
Experience:
- Minimum 01-year experience in labour room /BEmONC or 01-year experience with an INGO.
Competencies:
- Ability to understand Humanitarian Values.
- Cultural Awareness and Apprehension: Ability to identify and comprehend different cultural contexts, norms, habits, and trends;
Technical Competencies:
Medical/Paramedical Management Competencies: Ability to perform normal deliveries and deal with obstetric complications.
Ability implement and control relative clinical procedures, patient handling procedures, medical counselling procedures and medical stock management - in addition to verbal and written reporting proficiency;
- Good communication skills in English, Urdu & Pushto.
