TERMS OF REFERENCE (TORs)
Provision of services (trainers) to conduct 07 Nos. of vocational/skill training (dress making) to trained 180 women in district Jhang with 20 to 30 trainees in each group
Background
Building Disaster Resilience in Pakistan (BDRP) project is being implemented by CAWI consortium funded by DFID. In this consortium Concern Worldwide (lead), Acted, International Rescue Committee and Welthungerhilfe are partner. Whereas Welthugerhilfe implementing BDRP project in Punjab, CWW in KPK, Sind & Punjab and Acted implementing the same in Sindh & KPK, IRC is implementing in Sindh.
Lodhran Pilot Project (LPP) is implementing partner of CAWI consortium lead organization CWW in District Jhang. Under BDRP project 07 flood prone union councils in Tehsil Ahmedpur Sial, Jhang and 18-Hazari of district Jhang has been selected. Total 70 villages have been selected for the phase-2 of project.
Under BDRP project for off-farm livelihoods Component Lodhran Pilot Project intends to conduct 06 trainings for 180 women on dress making. The main objectives and further details of consultancy services are mentioned below.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications for Institutes or Individuals:
For Institute:
1- Any Provincial or Federal Government’s Vocational Training Institute in District Jhang.
2- Any Institute established with the support of Govt. Or the part of its any program for skill development.
3- The Institute has authority to issue training certificate.
4- The institute has authority to make MoU for this short duration assignment.
5- The Institute must be register with Government of Punjab / Pakistan.
6- The Institute has mechanism and sufficient HR to conduct the trainings at village/ cluster village level.
For Individuals (Females will be preferred for dress making training):
- At least 5 years’ experience in developing and facilitating skill trainings (Trades mentioned above).
- Post graduate level qualification in related subjects (Trades mentioned above).
- Demonstrable experience in facilitating skill trainings.
- Excellent communication (report writing) and facilitation skills.
- Excellent skills in designing and developing training modules.
- Prior experience evidences for conducting skill trainings at village / cluster level.
- Female trainer fluent in local language.
