I. Organizational Context and Scope

The Senior Evaluation Officer will be working under the overall supervision of the Chief of Party and working directly with the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. The Evaluation Officer will primarily be responsible for drafting final evaluation reports for the program activities.

II. Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Draft Final Evaluation Reports (FERs) to weekly deadlines by triangulating data from field M&E reports
  • Verify data against grant documentation uploaded to the donor database
  • Coordinate with M&E and other required program units to obtain the necessary information to close grants
  • All other activities and duties specified by the Program M&E Officer Islamabad

III. Technical

The Senior Evaluation Officer/Consultant should have excellent writing and qualitative analysis skills, in addition to strong attention to detail. They should have the ability to apply M&E frameworks to assess performance against key outputs and outcomes across a range of programmatic areas. They must be able to effectively multitask and deliver quality reports to tight weekly deadlines.

 

IV. Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent
  • Experience in data analysis, report drafting, and evaluation
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluation for complex programming strongly desired
