Assistant Engineer (Pipeline)

Qualification: DAE (Mechanical)

Experience: Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience of Oil and Gas cross-country Pipeline fabrication, construction and operation

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To ensure safe and sound operation of pipeline network while maintaining sound coordination with all respective departments.
• Execution of Pigging Jobs.
• Emergency response to any failure in operation (line leak attend).
• Execution of hot tapping jobs as per requirement.
• Supervision & execution of onsite jobs during laying of new pipeline projects.
• Supervision of fabrication jobs and ensuring quality of work as per standards.
• Initiation of contractor bills based on actual work done for completed projects.
• Maintenance of pipeline network spares (Pipes, Valves, Fittings etc.) and tools as per requirement.
• To suggest procurement of pipeline network spares and equipment.
• To recommend welding procedures for new projects.
• To recommend inspection procedures (RT, coating inspection etc.) For construction of new projects.
