Pipeline Engineer

Qualification: BSc/BE (Mechanical Engineering) from PEC Registered Institution

Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Oil and Gas cross-country pipeline design, construction and operation

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Candidate should be well versed with day-to-day pipeline laying and maintenance activities. Fully conversant with ASME B31.8, B31.4 and API 1104.
• Responsible for maintenance and improving of existing lines.
• Planning and execution of new pipeline laying projects.
• To extend pipe life by means of scheduled and in time maintenance/repair of all pipelines.
• Preparation of budget for field maintenance/repair.
• To plan and supervise the pigging jobs for internal cleaning of pipelines.
• To plan and supervise the hot tapping jobs as and on per requirement.
• To perform costing and project planning of all major projects within the field.
• To prepare indents and enquiries against capital and revenue expenses and to maintain the inventory reorder levels.
• To monitor the pipeline insulation/coating by keeping in view the pipe to soil potential surveys (DCVG, PCM etc.)
• To keep and maintain record of transactions with stores, material transfer and transportation.
• Giving suggestions for planning and improvement of current setup.
