District Coordinator, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Position Objective

Managing and coordinating all relevant public and private sector stakeholders and project staff for deployment and implementation of district specific supply chain functions as per the project workplan

Job Responsibilities

1. Support the project for technical field operations and implementation of workplan activities in the assigned district in close coordination with district staff of health and population welfare departments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
2. Support the district for sustainable strengthening of supply chain functions in development and implementation of district specific supply chain system strengthening action plan and USAID supported logistics and supply chain manuals
3. Providing technical assistance to district to formulate and institutionalize district health supply chain system strengthening task force and to create synergies with existing health system strengthening committees in the district.
4. Providing technical assistance and support the district in all matters relating to strengthening FP and MNCH supply chain including forecasting & quantification, procurement, storage, distribution and data reporting into MIS.
5. Regular monitoring of Health Logistics MIS data reporting and support joint field monitoring to improve the data reporting to ensure health commodities data visibility and data quality at district level
6. Validation of quality and integrity of data accumulated on the in-house MIS for contraceptives and MNCH products in the district including capacity building of district staff on data use and evaluation
7. Coordinating and facilitating public sector meetings, workshops, and workforce development initiatives as per requirements of the project workplan
8. Any other task assigned by the supervisor

Job Specifications

Education: Master’s Degree in public health, social sciences, supply chain management or relevant field.

Work Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in development and public sector in the fields of public health and supply chain systems strengthening
