Duration is 2 months with chances of extension
Relevant Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of experience and proven track record of competence in monitoring, surveys and assessment of field activities with NGOs/INGO; experience criteria for highly qualified candidates can be relaxed;
- Prior experience with program monitoring and evaluation, surveys preferred;
- Willingness to be based in the field for extended durations with regular travel to field;
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ability to work constructively with others
- Must be reliable and well organized with attention to imperative detail;
- Proven ability to work under stress and sensitive security situation;
- Ability and interest to work with a multi-ethnic team in a culturally appropriate manner;
- People from target areas will be preferred;
- Strong knowledge of computers and software (MS Word, MS Excel) preferred;
Education:
- Current undergraduate student or a recent graduate
Job Description:
- To facilitate regular field level meetings to reflect on project activities and gather opinions on future developments and performance in activities undertaken in all Resource units for feedback to project management;
- To execute the vital process of the monitoring and evaluation necessary to determine information needs of the project management, implementing partners and funding agencies;
- Knowledge and understanding of evaluation and development evaluation in particular;
- Participate in desk review and arrangement of Monitoring and Evaluation plan for the under consideration schemes;
- Provide feedback to the project staff and technical staff regarding ground realities of the project site;
- Coordination with project staff regarding tentative travel arrangements;
- Provide recommendation for corrective actions to the appropriate decision-makers;
- Data collection from field to generate scheme analytical reports;
- Absolute responsible for all the evaluation made on the basis of field data provided;
- Preparing meeting minutes and taking notes in FGDs;
- Any other task assigned by Chief Executive
