Tetra Tech ES, Inc., a subsidiary of Tetra Tech dedicated to international development, is recruiting for a Guest House Caretaker for a USAID-funded project in Islamabad, Pakistan.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Guesthouse Caretaker will report to Logistics Assistant and will supervise Janitorial and Kitchen Staff to ensure appropriate cleaning and cooking activities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- The care taker will be responsible for procurement and arrangement of food items for the residents
- Keep track of all funds received from residents and reconcile at the end of month
- Act as focal point for the inventory count as part of any internal / external audit/review.
- Arrange rooms for staff accommodation
- Monitor stock levels of consumable items such as water bottles, soaps, toilet paper, buckets, mugs, All Out (mosquito repellent), etc. and prepare Stock consumption report of all supplies used to office on weekly basis.
- Prepare a register for all kinds of repairs done, and maintenance activity taken up.
- Any defect in any part of the building found during inspection should be recorded in daily report with exact locations clearly marked. Defects that require immediate repair should be reported to the office at the earliest.
- Attend to all complaints lodged by the occupants.
- Ensure that no damage is done to the furniture and electrical items, like TVs, ACs, water purifiers, etc.
- Any other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
- Guest House Care taker must have Flexible time schedule as he/she may be required to work irregular hours
QUALIFICATIONS: (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)
EDUCATION: Matriculation
WORK EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years of experience in similar capacity.
