QUALIFICATIONS 

  • B.Com/bachelor degree in Finance

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Essential: 2 to 3 years of experience

Desireable:

  • Having 1-2 years of experience development sector.

    • Excellent accounting skills
    • Excellent skills on computer operation, especially on Microsoft Excel

Job Description: 

ROLE PURPOSE:

 

  • Processing of all bank payments and preparation of vouchers in line with Save the Children Finance Policies
  • Correspondence with bank and conversion of foreign currencies into local currency in line with Pakistan Foreign Exchange Regulations
  • Transfer of funds to sub-offices as per their funds forecast
  • Represent finance department in quarterly and annual inventory count
  • Recording of all bank receipts vouchers of Islamabad office
  • Processing of final settlements of employees (Tax, leave enacashment, severance & deductions if any)
  • Coordination with sub-offices for preparation of monthly fund request as per work plan
  • Focal person for health and life insurances policies and tracking of monthly staff additions and deletions
  • Processing of monthly amortization of health and life insurances of Islamabad
  • Preparation of staff severance accrual for Islamabad office on monthly basis
  • Responsible for all tax related matters
  • Consolidation of tax information for statutory returns and submit it to Tax consultant for filing
  • Preparation of income tax withholding summary and deposit thereof on weekly basis for Country Office
  • Deposit of sales tax withholdings of sub-offices and Country office to Revenue Authorities on monthly basis
  • Coordination with Income Tax consultants for deposit of payroll taxes including preparation of details
  • Provision of tax deduction certificates to all vendors and service providers on fortnighly basis
  • Responsible for processing of all petty cash transaction in Islamabad Office.
  • Processing of Advance to employee for Travel
  • Checking of Travel Expense Report and supporting documents
  • Intimation of advance deductions to Human Resource department from payroll
  • Carry out daily cash counts

Reports to: One position reports to Coordinator Finance and one to Sr. Coordinator Finance Coordinator
