Relevant Experience:

  • Female candidate with Master’s degree in Social Sciences and relevant disciplines / Project Management / Masters in Business Administration / Masters in Public Administration from a HEC recognized national or international university.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in field activities, project implementation, monitoring, Health & Hygiene, Disaster Management, Life Skill Trainings and reporting in development sector at provincial and national level.
  • Be able to conduct trainings on Livelihood, Disaster Risk Reduction, Gender Based Violence, Enterprises Development & Planning, Life Skill Base education, Election process etc.
  • Understanding of community, cultural norms, and familiarity with regional context for women empowerment and involvement.
  • Experience in dealing with government departments and other relevant stakeholders for women empowerment and country status on the gender gap and HDI.
  • Knowledge of Grants-based Operations, Poverty Ranking, Social mapping of rural areas.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills and data analysis.
  • Experience in Project Management and budgeting skills to forecast budget for the unit/program.
  • Report writing and analysis skills.
  • be a team player, system thinker, goal driven, innovative and action oriented individual.
  • Able to speak and understand local languages of Balochistan like Balochi, Brahvi and Pashto.
  • Willing to travel extensively in the field, especially across Balochistan.

Job Description:

  • Coordinate with line departments like women development department, women caucus, to create linkages for women empowerment.
  • Facilitate partners for women participation wherever their staffs face issues and challenges for women and girl’s participation.
  • Interact with Partner Organizations to assess their implementation plans and requirements of women participation at all tiers of community institutions, listing challenges faced by POs and make plan accordingly.
  • Sensitize and ensure capacity building of community institutions to highlight issues of gender inequality, and challenges that women/girls may face in terms of restricted mobility, low visibility and meaningful participation in decision making, discrimination, harassment, violence, and deprivation.
  • Regularly conduct field visits of all projects activities which show low women participation.
  • Assist male staff members of organization for interaction with communities’ men and women to achieve projects targets and activities.
  • Develop reports and assessments on regular basis and collect case studies and report to relevant unit.
  • Assist all visitors in the field for interaction with women community institutions.
  • Coordinate with line departments like women development department, women caucus, for create linkages for women empowerment.
  • Coordinate with the Gender Committee regularly for update on gender aspect and women empowerment.
  • Facilitate trainings and filed visits of organizational staff whenever requested.
  • Review partner wise status of women staff and community membership/ participation in all projects activities and submit report to I&I unit.
  • Develop engagement plan with all partners and develop report on women participation status, issues and challenges and way forward.
  • Share field learning and case studies for future planning and strategies.
  • Prepare reports and data qualitative and quantitative regarding women participation in community institutions.
