Job Description:

Enhancing CSO’s contribution to governance and development processes in Pakistan

  • Coordinating and executing the project activities under the guidance of the District Coordinator.
  • Assist district Coordinator in organizing project orientation sessions with CSOs and local government.
  • Doing social mobilization with CSOs for social accountability.
  • Facilitating and organizing trainings for CSOs and local Govt. representatives.
  • Facilitate local councillors to develop resolutions and engage with district development committees.
  • Organize CSOs/Citizen’s and LGs planning meetings to develop community development plans (along with budget).
  • Coordinating and conducting district level meetings and mobilizing communities on their local issues.
  • Facilitating CSOs and Local in preparing and implementation of their developmental planning.
  • Assisting UC level Awareness and action groups in preparing and implementation of action plans
  • Assisting local government in development of ADP and budgeting.
  • Assisting the supervisor in preparation of the overall, annual and monthly work plan for implementation of the project.
  • Documentation of all field level activities and share compiled data for monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with the project staff and SPO regional team.
  • Ensure transparency of his/her function.

Other: 

  • Adhere to SPO policies and promote participatory culture and demonstrate SPO’s values.
  • Participate in the SPO programme planning and review meeting if needed.
  • Participate in professional development training as identified and approved by the Supervisor.
  • Carry out any other project relevant activities as assigned by the supervisor.
