Background of Consultancy:

The objective of the consultancy is to design and implement communication and marketing strategies in order to positively highlight the project achievements, good practices and promote RANG artisanal products

IHT project RANG would like to hire a consultant with the major responsibility of using social media, to increase usage and engagement of IHT platforms, and to support the project market mobilization efforts. Conceptualize, develop layout, format and design all promotional materials and activities agreed as part of the public awareness strategy to advertise project products.


Relevant Experience:

  • At least three years proven experience in applying social media marketing strategies.  Candidates should provide evidence of social media work through links to the respective sites.
  • Familiarity with branding compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Spoken and written fluency in English and Urdu, Punjabi and/or Sindhi will be an advantage.
  • Readiness for field travel.
  • Masters or Bachelor’s (Hons) 16 years of education in a Social or media science related discipline.

 

Job Description:

The Consultant shall perform certain tasks pursuant to this agreement as outlined below:

1.      Social Media Marketing/Management.

a.      Creating content (captions + visuals) for social media

b.      Determine a posting schedule and manage social media pages accordingly

c.      Promote content to the relevant target market through various demographic, behavioural variables.

2.      Influencer Collaborations 

3.      Digital PR

4.      Blog posts and content maintenance on a monthly basis for IHT’s website

5.      Uploading products and their descriptions on a monthly basis

6.      Designing and creating content for the Company’s monthly newsletter sent to clients, potential clients etc. on the mailing list.

7.      Any other tasks as assigned by Project Manager & Senior Designer

8.      Develop a social media strategy to increase visibility, membership and traffic across the project platforms.

9.      Guide implementation of priority areas of the strategy relating to:

a. Increased membership and user engagement on the project social media tools

b. Features to enable interaction with major social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook

c. Define and monitor targets and benchmarks to measure the success of the social media strategy

11.    Maintain a web and social media calendar and content plans of content themes and all upcoming coverage schedules according to the calendar. Monthly web and social media calendar created and adhered to. Prepare social media packs for flagship events, initiatives, campaigns. Social media packs prepared for all key events, dates, launches, etc and shared with stakeholders, where appropriate. Actively engage with online audiences through social media channels. Timely responses to messages and comments, monthly reports on levels of engagement.
