Senior Software Engineer (Node.js)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Application Development in Node.js
• Experience with HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS, DOM, jQuery
• Experience using CSS pre-processors (e.g. Less,)
• Extensive experience in the use of one or more modern JavaScript frameworks (such as Bootstrap, BackBone.js, Ember.js, Knockout.js, AngularJS, or React)
• Comfortable using modern JavaScript tooling (Bower, Grunt, Karma, Node.js)
• Understanding of cross-platform support using responsive web design
• Knowledge and Experience of JSON
• Working with server-side code using AJAX to make pages dynamic
• Understanding of security vulnerabilities in frontend code (e.g. XSS, CSRF) and how to prevent them
• Developer Testing of Applications Developed 
• Peer Code Reviews
• Central Source Management through GIT and SVN
• Application Integration with External Applications or Modules 
• Helping Deployment Teams in fixings Issues or Problems identified in the Application 
• Implementing Change Requests Generated 

Technical Requirements:

• Professional Node.Js Applications Development Experience 
• Deep understanding of Node.js Core Framework/Engine 
• Experience Node.js Full Frameworks/Modules Experience such as Express, Kraken, redis.io, backbonejs, Mean etc. is Strong Plus. 
• Experience with Node.js backend database connectivity Oracle, MySQL and MongoDB Database 
• Node.js Networking Applications HTTP, SOAP, TCP, WebSocket, Sockets.io, SMPP, XMPP and Asterisk ARI Experience and Knowledge is strong plus. 
• Experience with Node.js and HTML GUI Applications Integration
• Experience on using JIRA, SVN, GITHUB, TFS, and CVS etc.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum teams

Qualifications & Experience:

MSc/MCS/BSCS (4-year) in Computer Science from Reputed University/Institute

Practical Experience:

Minimum 3-5-Years of Node.js Development Experience with above mentioned technical skills and experience.
