Project Brief Description:

 

In order to increase access to quality education through the expansion of a successful Accelerated Learning Program (ALP) linked to the official curriculum under Department of Education, Governments of KP and Sindh provinces, Organization will reach 4,000 adolescent girls who should be enrolled in grades 6 to 8 of selected secondary government schools (4000 girls in KP province: 900 in Buner via 20 schools, 1400 in Swat via 30 schools, 1700 in Peshawar via 37 schools). To carry out mandatory activities expected by donor, Org will work with both the formal and non-formal education system. Envisaged key activities will include double shifting; female teacher scholarships; non-formal education;  Accelerated Learning Program (includes also literacy/numeracy programs for out-of-school girls); enrollment campaigns; coordination with Basic Education and Community Schools; Building capacity of the education system to more effectively and efficiently deliver; education to adolescent girls, manage schools, and manage resources; Creating, facilitating safe spaces for girls to gather and receive learning to allow the adolescent girls to continue their education and/or learning.

Job Description:

  • Coordination with Education Department DOE/ADOs/Head Teacher.
  • Identification of OSC (out of school children) in the catchment area of selected school.
  • Ensure 100% enrolment in selected school through Community mobilization.
  • Mobilize community through corner meetings and broad base community meetings.
  • Conduct meeting with PTC.
  • Regular PTCs meeting.
  • Arrangement School inters competition at school based.
  • Conduct surveys, assessment and data analysis.
  • Field monitoring visits and taking pictures regarding an activity.
  • Ensure proper record keeping of program activities.
  • Submission of weekly, monthly and quarterly report to Sr.Education Officer/ P.M
  • Develop strong coordination with ADEO circles for joint field visits.
  • Arrange social cohesion events.
  • Regular supervisory visits to Schools.
  • Monthly data collection students’ progress.
  • Conducting Professional TNA for ALP feeder teachers.
  • Ensuring collection of all type of data required for the project activities.
