Position:       Advocacy and Research Officer

Location:      Lahore

Report to:    Project Coordinator

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Plan and Implement advocacy activities around SDG 16.6 and 16.7 at provincial level;
2. Ensure preparation of Advocacy plan and budget within agreed limits;
3. Organize meetings, seminars, press conferences, dialogues, forums for effective around SDG 16.7 and 16.6;
4. Provide inputs in preparation, publication of IEC Material and disseminate according to needs;
5. Build linkages with civil society organizations and networks, PWDs, government and legislature for coordination and promotion SDG 16.6 and 16.7
6. Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports;
7. Managing knowledge management on SDG 16, with focus on SDG 16.6 and 16.7
8. Prepare TORs and oversee research on SDG 16 at provincial level  

Job Specification

Qualification:           Master’s

Experience:              5 years’ experience in NGOs

Skills:

1. Knowledge and background in democracy, electoral processes and SDG 16
2. Communication Skills (Advanced both in Urdu and English)
3. Technical Report Writing
4. Research Reports
5. Others (Self-driven, results-oriented, planner, mature, comfortable to visit within and outside the country, reliable, tolerant, determined, empathic, flexible, accountable, and team-player.
