Project Description:

Deloitte Yousuf Adil, Chartered Accountants (Deloitte Pakistan) is contractor for USAID on Sindh Capacity Development Project (SCDP), a USAID three-year project that will support the sustainability of the Sindh Basic Education Program (SBEP). This will be done by ensuring stronger governance and improved public accountability in the education sector through systems building and institutional strengthening of Program Management and Implementation Unit (PMIU) and the School Education Department (SED) of the Government of Sindh.

Position Description and Role:

The Programmer Analyst will be engaged in the following activities:

• Participate in the design and development of PPP MIS.
• Assessment and analysis of PHP web application requirements preferable.
• Analyze existing MIS Systems / IT Applications implemented within the Sindh Education Literacy Department.
• Evaluate data and design needs for PPP Node in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
• Develop on MIS for PPP Node on agreed parameters.
• Operationalize the PPP – EMIS after addition of relevant data of PPP Node.
• Throughout the above tasks the consultant will work closely with the PPP – Node and under the supervision of the PPP – Advisor of SCDP and PPP Associate.

Qualifications:

We are currently seeking a Programmer Analyst having 4+ years’ experience building responsive websites and web apps using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, Code Igniter, and Yii.

• 4+ years industry experience preferred using PHP frameworks.
• Understanding of the SOLID programming principles.
• Expertise working with packages and other developers’ codebases.
• Dedication to TDD.
• Extensive experience writing API integrations.
• Expert in  MySQL / SQL experience.
• Expertise working with relational databases.
• Proficiency in front-end web development basics including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.
• Proficiency with front-end frameworks/libraries such as Ajax, jQuery, AngularJS, etc.
• Experience with modern-day development tools including version control, preprocessors, task runners, etc.
• Experience with cloud computing architectures.
• Desire to work with project managers, designers and other developers.
• Excellent verbal and time management skills.
• Proficient in front-end web development basics including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.
• Proficient in front-end/back-end frameworks/libraries such as Ajax, jQuery, AngularJS, PHP, Laravel, Symfony, Codeingniter etc.
• Expert in MySQL / SQL experience.
• Knowledge about SDLC and its different modules.
