Position Objectives:

To streamline Organizational Development systems and procedures of PRCS.

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the OD Program under various budget heads
  • Ensure timely collection of monthly/quarterly and annual reports from provincial branches; analyze, consolidate and submit to the PMER Department for sharing with the donors.
  • Responsible for overall management/ arrangement for the international capacity building opportunities for the employees of PRCS.
  • As a Movement Coordinator, responsible for a close coordination with Movement Partners, support the development of Movement Coordination Mechanism and organize the meetings of Cooperation Management Group and recording of minutes.
  • Liaison with the non-movement partners and focal person for coordination of activities (meetings) between leadership of two organizations. Also responsible for recording the minutes and follow up on key decisions of the meetings.
  • Support the Provincial and District chapters to resolve any issues related to Branch development, which includes HR support, establishment of physical infrastructure, establishment and orientation of the executive committees at district levels and support in image building and fundraising for the sustainability of the branch.
  • Correspondence with the Government on different matters of importance for PRCS like unification of constitution and acceptance of auxiliary role of PRCS etc.
  • Responsible for making arrangements for the General Assembly Meeting, Managing Board meeting and Organizational Development Working Group Meeting of PRCS.
  • Custodian of the Memorandum of Understanding between PRCS and other organizations, both Movement and non-Movement Component.

Duties applicable to all staff

  • Actively work towards the achievement of the PRCS goals.
  • Abide by and work in accordance with Red Cross and Red Crescent principles.
  • Perform any other work related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the PRCS Management.

Education

Masters/16 years education Management/ Social Sciences or related field from HEC recognized Institution.

Experience

  • 07 years of professional working experience in handling of developmental and

humanitarian related programs/projects, out of which 04 years experience should be of Organizational Development

  • . Preference will be given having experience with Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement

Skills/Knowledge

  • Management & technical skills on development of SoPs, guidelines etc.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Work towards the achievement of PRCS Vision and long term objectives.
  • Flexibility to travel into the fields to conduct monitoring & other related tasks.
  • Good Command over the Microsoft Office (word, excel & power point).
  • Strong monitoring, evaluation & analysis skills would be required.
