Project Description:

The U.S.-Pakistan Partnership for Agricultural Market Development (AMD) activity in Pakistan is a USAID funded project implemented by CNFA with the goal of supporting the development of Pakistan’s commercial agriculture, particularly through ‘Increased Economic Performance of Focus Enterprises’ to meet both international and domestic demand and requirements in targeted product lines in the Livestock, High Value Off-Season Vegetables (HVOSV), Citrus, and Mango sectors. The program aims to create productive commercial linkages between agricultural producers and the private sector in the mango, citrus, halal meat, and high-value off-season vegetable value chains.


Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Carry out thorough cleaning of office(s) before the start of work hours and also throughout the day
  • Assist in equipment shifting and inventory movement
  • Oversight work of small vendors
  • Manage the kitchen and make tea/coffee arrangements for staff and guests upon requirement
  • Receive and distribute mail to AMD staff
  • To open and close office(s) on daily basis
  • To organize and secure materials and office supply cabinets
  • To deliver and pick-up mail, messages, documents, packages and other items to and from government offices, the post office, or any other location that may be required
  • To answer incoming calls, routing them to the proper individual and taking messages whenever required
  • To make photocopies of reports and correspondence
  • To coordinate the maintenance and repair of office equipment
  • Any other task, assigned by the Manager Operations

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Pakistani national;
  • Two (2) years of  relevant experience as office boy with at least one (1) year experience of working with USAID funded project(s) on the same position;
  • Matriculation or Intermediate;
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of best practices in the relevant field;
  • Previous project work experience in Pakistan;
  • Team player with communication skills in English, Urdu, with regional language capability desirable.
