JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Coordination with DAI P projects to collect the required document to obtain Certificate for zero rated supplies from tax authorities (FBR).
- Collection, Verification, submission and follow up with FBR in accordance with DAI and FBR policy to obtain the required certificate.
- Keep track of completed and pending cases submitted with FBR for certificate for zero rated supplies.
- Maintain good relationship with associated department (for zero rated supplies) of FBR.
- Prepare all accounting transactions at DAI P Corporate including, payments, tax deductions, salaries, etc. are carried out in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Prepare all bank account’s reconciliation statements on a monthly basis.
- Dealing/visiting banks for smooth and efficient transactions.
- Ensure that all accounting/company records are maintained in accordance with standard practices.
- Prepare the required spreadsheets for all monthly tax (sales and income) returns and statements on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
- Maintaining vFER and Ensure the availability of required financial report on by monthly basis for further process.
- Ensure receivables, advances and payables are settled subsequently
- Prepare monthly payroll and transfers staff salaries to their respective bank accounts
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and facilitates the timely completion and reporting of audited accounts
- Submit reports and documents to various Government of Pakistan entities, such as FBR, SECP, and EOBI.
- Managing DAI events and activities.
- Coordinate with project finance and HR staff for timely submissions of information and assist in any questions; and escalate any questions, as necessary.
- Safeguard and keep record of DAI P property and assets.
- Scan & record monthly vouchers for MO/HO.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Accounting OR equivalent qualification of Accounting/Finance.
- Demonstrated 4-5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent working knowledge of Accounts and taxation laws of Pakistan.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is highly desirable.
- Pro-active, persuasive.
- Assessment and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and team building skills and excellence as a team player.
- Strong computer/internet usage skills.
- Prior experience working for/with with the FBR desired.
