VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

A National non-profit, non- governmental organization is looking for qualified, hardworking and experienced individuals to fill the following positions for its short term emergency project activities to be implemented in North Waziristan Agency. The project is for 3-4 months duration.

Minimum Experience

Project Manager (01)  ( Key Position)

Masters in Social Sciences/relevant field

6-8 years of experience in Humanitarian sector preferably in NGO/INGO(s) working with TDPs. Lead the project activities in the field and supervise the field staff, plan and implement overall activities in a WASH & Shelter sector in an emergency response/Rehab project.

Project  Officer  (01)        

( Key Position)

 Masters in Social Sciences/relevant field

4-6 years of minimum experience in Humanitarian sector preferably in NGOs working with TDPs. progress reporting and team management experience in humanitarian sectors of WASH and Shelter is desired.

 Senior Engineer (01)  (Key position)

Certified BSc Engineer/DAE

6-8 years’ experience in survey, design, estimate and supervision of infrastructure projects in NGOs or Private sector Companies, Lead the project activities in field and supervise Field Engineers. Experience with WASH and Shelter  projects in emergency setup is required

 Field Engineer (WASH)

(01 position-  Local)

Certified BSc Engineer/DAE

2-3 years’ experience in survey, design, estimate and supervision of infrastructure projects in NGOs or Private sector Companies, Lead the project activities in field. Experience with WASH projects in emergency setup is required

Field Engineer (Shelter)

(01 Position - Local)

Certified BSc Engineer/DAE

2-3 years’ experience in survey, design, estimate and supervision of infrastructure/buildings projects in NGOs or Private sector Companies, Lead the project activities in field. Experience with Shelter project in emergency setup is required

Social organizers

 (04 Positions – Local)

B.A Preferably Masters in Social Sciences / Equivalent

1-2 years of experience preferably in NGOs. Strong leadership and team management skills are required. Local language (Pushto) speaking is desired.

M&E Officer (01)

Key Position  

 

 Masters in Social Sciences/relevant field

4-6 years of minimum experience in monitoring & evaluation, progress reporting and insuring the project implementing indicators. Experience in humanitarian sectors of WASH and Shelter is desired.

Database Officer    

(01 position -  local) 

Bachelor of Science & Information Technology(BSIT)

2-3 years’ experience in managing data and information system; data collection, data entry and report generation.

High level of Computer proficiency especially in Microsoft office is desirable.

Security Liaison Officer

 (01) Key Position

B.A Preferable Master degree/relevant Field

3-4 years working experience of liaison with govt. and other stakeholders and have good knowledge of coordination on daily basis with the concerned security officials/check points for obtaining security clearance for program staff, suppliers and other visitors to the project site. Also, to regularly coordinate and liaison with PA & APA of NWA offices for sharing information and plans etc.

Cash for Work Assistant

 (01 position - local)

ACCA/B.Com /BBA Equivalent 

2-3 years of minimum experience in accounting field preferably in NGO(s). Strong knowledge and experience of accounting system, financial bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, file maintenance, petty cash handling and cash for work experience on filed level in emergency response project.

Admin/Logistic Officer

 (01 position – local)

Graduate. Preferably MBA

2-3 years’ experience of same position, preferably in any INGO / NGO. Excellent Computer Skills in Microsoft Office spread sheets and database applications with good general knowledge of computer Operating Systems. MBA will be preferred.

Internal Auditor

(01 Position)

 MBA (Finance)/M.Com /ACCA/CA Inter

2-3 years working experience of same position. Excellent computer skills, an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organization’s operations, risk management, control and governance processes.

HR Officer

(01  position)

Graduate. MBA in HRM will be preferred

2-3 years experience of same position preferably in NGOs Sector excellent experience of updating HR System, maintaining all Personnel Files, contract renewals, leave applications, time sheets, recruitment process, mainstreaming of database for personnel information, management of Pay roll etc.

Finance Officer

(01 position)

MBA (Finance) /M.Com Equivalent 

2-3 years of minimum experience in accounting field preferably in NGO(s). Strong knowledge and experience of accounting system, financial bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, file maintenance, petty cash handling etc.

Office Support/ Cook,

(01 Position - local)

Matric/Primary

 

 Relevant working experience in NGOs or other office environment.

Office Cleaner

(01 Position - local)

Matric/Primary

Relevant experience of cleaner in NGOs or other office environment.

Security Guards (03 Positions - local)

Matric/Primary

Relevant experience of Security Guard in NGOs or other office environment.

Candidates with multitasking abilities and work in stressful situation will get preference. Good knowledge of English speaking and writing, and local language (Pushto) speaking is required for most of the positions.
