Position Objectives:

To support the PMER function at PRCS and PM PMER in matters related to Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting.

Specific Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountabilities

1

Establish and maintain standardized PMER processes at all levels for all ongoing projects.

Coordinate with Provincial branches for the collection of data from PMER Officers & Provincial Program Officers at Provincial branches.

Analyze and consolidate all gathered information and data in appropriate formats (whether regular programs or disaster response).

Maintain all updated facts and figures for the project at national level (information management).

Facilitate programs/ projects in monthly/ quarterly progress reporting.

Facilitate and support all PMER related activities at national level i.e. organize and participate in review and planning and coordination meetings.

Provide technical inputs in response planning phase as and when required.

Take lead in program related surveys, evaluation and reviews at National Level.

Strengthen the capacities of Program staff on PMER related tasks.

10

Any other task assigned by the PRCS Management.

Education

  • Masters degree/ 16 years education from HEC recognized institution(s) in Social Science,  Statistics, Anthropology or related field.

Experience

•   Minimum 5 years experience in monitoring & evaluation design and implementation.

Skills/Knowledge

 

•    Successful involvement with, and good knowledge of, CBOs, I/NGOs and civil society is desired.

•    Computer literacy in Microsoft packages (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel), GIS and SPSS is an asset.

•     Knowledge in designing and field testing surveys and other data collection instruments are required.

•     Contribute in indicator development, data collection and analysis, data quality assessments, and/or performance monitoring and reporting.

•     Good knowledge of concepts and framework for monitoring and Evaluation and Result Measurement.

•     Both written and spoken in English is essential

•     Ability to work in multi-cultural environment.

 Maximum age 40 years.

Travelling

•   Position will be based in Islamabad but willingness to undertake regular field visits in different

      conditions is required.
